About me
Hello I'm Gabrielle,
Here is a little bit about me. After organising a significant farewell for an esteem colleague, it was a Celebrant who, after witnessing me in action that day, suggested I consider signing up to become a Celebrant. So when the stars all aligned I signed up. When I did my first wedding, I knew I had made the right choice. I love crafting unique and meaningful ceremonies that reflect the personalities and the love story of each couple or family, and best of all is the atmosphere of a wedding.
Being a Celebrant feels an easy fit for me. I have taken my years of experience in public speaking, event planning, writing, creativity and community arts to become a Celebrant. I am a great listener, who can pick up on the fine details and understand what is important to you. I have the confidence to speak to many different people and I am able to put them at ease.
When I'm not marrying people I work p/t in Public Programs at Nan Tien Temple in Wollongong, relaxing with family, friends and a labradoodle, out hiking, snorkelling, and getting my sourdough bread right.
5 fun facts about me:
- I'm taking gradual steps into native beekeeping.
- I know the moves to Kate Bush’s Wuthering Heights dance. Play the music and I’ll start to dance on any windy moor.
- I sing with the Tender Funeral Choir.
- I'm an unashamed art history nerd.
- Huge fan of David Attenborough.
Now you know a little about me, I'd love to know more about you so that I can help design a ceremony that is a reflection of your personalities and relationship.
If you think we are a good fit, beautiful, then get in touch with me here.
I look forward to meeting with you.
Gabrielle
