Naming Ceremony

This special day formally introduces your child to your circle of family and friends. Selecting one or more of the many rituals that symbolises the bond between you are the highlights of the ceremony. As your Celebrant I become the person leading the ceremony you have planned. I offer you sample scripts, readings, poems and rituals to make the ceremony memorable.

Your baby’s name is the first gift you give your child.

Price: $450. Travel: 40 km. 

I offer you Order of Ceremony Samples with lots of ideas on rituals, verses, music you may like to adapt to create a traditional and fun ceremony.  I tailor the ceremony to ensure the brood of siblings and young cousins are acknowledged for their important role.

A favourite is using specially-made honeycomb beeswax candles for your ceremony to light your child’s candle. The gentle honey aromas filled the space. All candles are specially made to your choice of colour and sizes.  

This package includes:

  • Planning - 1 ceremony planning meeting (face-to-face or video call). This is your opportunity to tell me all of your ideas and for me to get to know you more as a family. Not sure what you want from your ceremony? I have a few standard ceremonies you can select.
  • Questionnaire - a standard ceremony, with the option to include personally written vows. This is your chance to tell me all about you as a couple. How you met, what you love about each other, your dreams. Everything I need to know to create your perfect ceremony. 
  • Unlimited - emails, texts and phone calls.
  • Script changes - up to 1 round of script changes up until 1 week prior to your wedding.
  • Tailored - Order of Ceremony
  • Professional - delivery of your beautiful ceremony.
  • Commemorative Certificate - a ceremony certificate for your child and for the Guardians to acknowledge their role in your child's life.
  • Equipment - use of high-quality PA system and microphones
  • Travel - and with me ariving 30 minutes before and remain 15 minutes after the service.
  • Complimentary - set of beeswax candles are for the parents and guardians.
